A break-in at a downtown apartment building garage last month has resulted in charges for a 36-year-old Guelph man. Police are still looking for a second suspect.

On Nov. 25, two males were seen on video in the lobby of an apartment building near Woolwich Street and Eramosa Road. Neither live in the building.

Police report the two made their way to the entrance of the parking garage and spent several minutes prying the door mechanism in order to get inside. Both entered a vehicle and stole items including a small amount of cash, sunglasses and documents.

On Wednesday, officers arrested a Guelph man found downtown. He is charged with break and enter, and theft under $5,000.
