Last October, the Guelph Police Service began a missing persons investigation involving a 45-year-old Guelph man. On October 27, his remains were found outside the city by Guelph Police Service officers.
Four people – three Guelph men aged 37 to 43 and a 48-year-old Guelph woman – were arrested a short time later and charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, the three males have additionally been charged with offering an indignity to a dead body and the female has been charged with being an accessory after the fact to that same charge.
The investigation is ongoing.
