A Tavistock man pleaded guilty after a sex crime caught on tape.
Ronald Chesney, 49, pleaded guilty to sexual interference of a minor in Guelph’s Ontario Court of Justice Wednesday morning.
According to court documents, the incident happened in December 2022 in Wellington North.
According to a statement read into the court, Chesney was seen on video grabbing the crotch of a girl under the age of 16. Further details about the incident, including the identity of the victim, are protected under a publication ban.
Submissions and sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 13.
