Fatal motorcycle crash under investigation in Erin

TOWN OF ERIN - On July 31, 2021 at approximately 3:35 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police, Wellington County Detachment, responded along with the Town of Erin Fire and Emergency Services and Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services to a single motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Second Line near Seventeen Side Road in the Town of Erin.

It was determined that a motorcycle was travelling southbound on Second Line when the vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch. The driver, 56-year-old Adrian Hamill of Acton, was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Wellington County OPP and West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team (TIME) continue to investigate the collision.
