GuelphToday received the following Letter to the Editor from reader Lisa Mongeon on the consistency of traffic lights when they countdown the walking sign.
Why can't the city or who ever manages traffic lights put all street lights on the same pattern from when the the numbered countdown clock with the walking light/red stop hand.
Some count down to one, immediately the light turns yellow, then red. Others count down to zero and stay green, on these I am always slowing down as I expect it to go yellow, but then doesn't.
I am sure many feel the same way, we are just trying to have us all safe, but it needs to be consistent.
