With colder weather approaching, residents are reminded not to leave running vehicles unattended after a pick-up was stolen Tuesday morning from the owner’s driveway.
At 8:20 a.m. police were called to a residence near Starwood Drive and Summit Ridge Drive. A caller had left his grey 2014 Toyota Tacoma warming up in the driveway, but when his wife went outside a short time later it was gone.
The couple were planning an overnight trip and a suitcase containing clothing and medication was inside the vehicle.
