This Saturday, take your appetite and your holiday shopping list to the Guelph Legion at 57 Watson Parkway South. There, you will find a wonderful craft sale and a lovely tearoom, where you can get a plate of sandwiches and a small dessert for only $5!
Even better, money raised from the event will go directly to support the Legion.
“Our ladies auxiliary organizes this craft sale and luncheon to support our veterans, our Legion, and our community,” explained Guelph Legion Ladies Auxiliary member Pat Connors.
There will be over 30 vendors at the craft sale, with handmade items including jewelry, knitting, sewing, woodworking, and lots more. “We hope you will be able to find something for everyone on your holiday list!” said Connors.
In addition, the ladies auxiliary will be selling its famous 5-inch beef and chicken pies, for only $6 each. “They are a great deal, and are absolutely delicious,” said Connors. “The pies are always a big hit. Come and get several, and you can freeze them to eat later!”
The Guelph Legion Ladies Auxiliary Craft Sale and Tearoom is happening November 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Guelph Legion Branch 234, 57 Watson Parkway South.
“Come for lunch, and take home a meat pie dinner and your holiday shopping!” said Connors. “We look forward to greeting our community at this special event.”
