Guelph police continue to investigate a report of a female with a weapon Wednesday morning.
They report that at approximately 8:40 a.m. police were called to the area of Willow Road and Bagot Street. A witness reported seeing an altercation between a female and male, during which the female brandished a weapon. The parties were last seen running southbound on Bagot Street. The female was described as white with red shoulder-length hair and a black jacket.
Police canvassed the area and spoke to a number of witnesses, but the parties have not yet been identified.
The investigation is ongoing.
