Guelph police are investigating after more than $3,300 in fragrances and skin care products were stolen from a south end business this week.

Approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday, a man and woman entered a business near Gordon Street and Clair Road. They approached the Chanel display and removed 10 bottles of perfume, then attended the cosmetics area and removed eight Lancome skincare products. The items have a total value of $3,348.

An employee confronted them and asked them to return the items, but the suspects denied taking anything and left the store. They were seen getting into a blue Volkswagen SUV driven by a third person and leaving the area.

The first suspect was described as male, 20-30, six feet, medium build, short black hair and wearing a black shirt, blue shorts and black sneakers. The second was a female, 50-60, 5’6” with a medium build and brown and blonde hair. She was wearing a white shirt, blue shawl and long plaid skirt.
