A Guelph rideshare driver has been arrested after a passenger complained of being sexually assaulted a week earlier, say Guelph police.
The victim, in her 50s, reported she was picked up Aug. 29 and driven to the Toronto area to run errands. On the drive back to Guelph, the driver made inappropriate sexual comments and touched her breast and thigh. The victim was not physically injured, police report.
On Thursday morning a 39-year-old Guelph man was arrested for one count of sexual assault.
