(GUELPH-ERAMOSA) - One person is deceased as a result of a motor vehicle collision.
On Feb. 28, 2025, at approximately 6:45 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and local emergency services responded to a three-vehicle collision on Wellington Road 51, near Ariss.
The collision involved two pick-up trucks and a sedan. As a result, one of the drivers was pronounced deceased on scene. No other injuries were reported.
Wellington Road 51 is currently closed between Fourth Line and Sixth Line and it is anticipated that the roadway will remain closed for the next six hours while officers continue to investigate.
OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (T.I.M.E.) team are assisting with the investigation.
