CRIME OF THE WEEK: Fragrances stolen while clerk distracted

At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday July 3 a theft occurred from a business located on Clair Road in Guelph. Two males entered the business, and while one male spoke to the store employees to distract them, the other male removed 13 bottles of fragrances and placed them in a bag.

The two males then exited the store without paying for the items. Value of stolen perfume is $2,800. Suspect No. 1 is described as 6-foot-2, 150 lbs, late teens-20s, thin build, wearing a black hat, black glasses, brown tracksuit, a sweater that says “essentials”, and carrying a side bag with a black strap beige/black. Suspect No. 2 is described as 5-foot-5, 120 lbs, late teens-20s, thin build, having short dreadlocks, wearing a purple hat, black tracksuit, and a black side bag.
