A 47-year-old from Mount Forest suffered life-threatening injuries after a crash near the Belwood Lake Conservation Area.
Wellington County OPP say it happened around 12:45 p.m. Friday on Wellington Road 18.
Police say according to initial reports, a black SUV left the roadway, but the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The driver of the SUV was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
The roadway, between Third Line and Fourth Line, was closed as a result of the investigation.
Police say the roadway is expected to be closed until dusk, and to expect delays in the area.
