Guelph Farmers' Market

Check out an abundance of fresh produce, baked goods, beverages, and products from local meat producers.

Eramosa River Trail parkrun and parkwalk

Eramosa River Trail at 85 York Rd.; 9 a.m. to noon
A free weekly timed 5k run, jog, and walk kicks off just east of the covered bridge near The Boathouse. Newcomers are encouraged to join at 8:45 a.m.

Hillside Inside: Circle Music with Jane Lewis

Royal City Mission at 50 Quebec St.; 10 a.m.
Collaborative music making with no experience necessary. People will be guided to sing, move, clap, stomp and stamp. This is event is pay-what-you-can with registration through its website.

Hillside Inside: Learn to play the spoons

Royal City Mission at 50 Quebec St.; noon
Learn to play musical spoons and washboard with The Vaudevillian. All ages and abilities are welcome. The workshop is seeing-impaired friendly. It is pay-what-you-can with registration through its website.

Hillside Inside: Kelewele African Dance Camp 1

Learn different forms of West African dance by mixing traditional movements and urban street styles. It's open to all levels of experience for ages 14 to 65. This event is pay-what-you-can with registration through its website.

Hillside Inside: JamSchool Youth Showcase

Sonic Hall at 12 Wyndham St. N.; 1 p.m.
JamSchool bands and soloists rock out at Sonic Hall. Pay-what-you-can at the door.

Hillside Inside: Queer Meet-Up

This event is for LGBTQ+ people of all ages, genders and for those who are questioning. It's a safe space and is hosted by Ashland Kearns and Ginger Reynolds. It is free or pay-what-you can with registration.

Music Weekends

Red Brick Cafe at 8 Douglas St.; 4 p.m.
Rowan Tree performs as part of Hillside Inside. The event is pay-what-you-can at the door.

Hillside Inside: Beginner's Guide to Cross Stitch

Art Not Shame at 119 Wyndham St.; 5 p.m.
All skill levels welcomed to learn how to cross stitch. The beginner-friendly craft is to make a bookmark. The workshop is pay-what-you-can with registration online.

Guelph Groove

42 Quebec St.; 7:30 to 9 p.m.
A dance event to explore mindful, free-form and spontaneous movement. No shoes or dancing partners required. It's open to all abilities. The event is $15 or pay-what-you-can at the door.

Hillside Inside: Golden Feather and The Vaudevillian

Royal City Mission at 50 Quebec St.; 8 p.m.
Golden Feather is a band inspired by the love of bands that like to jam. The Vaudevillian performs jugband ragtime blues. Tickets are available online for $37.

Winter Market

Red Chevron Club at 34 Elizabeth St.; noon to 4 p.m.
The Hive's first market of the year. It's focused on nature with a native seed and bird feeder craft. Vendors featured will have up-cycled and harvested items.

Hillside Inside: Girls & Guitars

Guelph Music at 20 Carden St.; 1 p.m.
Watch Girls & Guitars members Maureen Pollard, Maddy Mount, Kate Hall and Amanda Tkaczyk perform. The event it pay-what-you-can at the door.

Hillside Inside: Fizzy Fermentation

Art Not Shame at 119 Wyndham St. N.; 3 p.m.
Learn how to ferment from chef Leah Steduto through her live demo that covers the basics of fermentation. Lacto fermentation is the focus and other fermentation methods will be referenced. The event is free or pay-what-you can with registration

The Winter Concert Series

Local musician Miranda Journey performs. This event is pay-what-you-can at the door.

Hillside Inside: Hillside Member Gathering

The Wooly Pub at 176 Woolwich St.; 6 p.m.
Hillside gathering but all are welcome. The event is free to attend and registration isn't required.
