A press release from Wellington OPP noted the three deceased people were from the work van and the lone occupant of the semi-tractor trailer remains in hospital with serious injuries.
The road between Arthur and Teviotdale was closed for the night for investigation but the roadway has now reopened.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – A major accident overnight in north Wellington County has left three people dead.
Wellington OPP report responding to a serious collision on Wellington Road 109 near Sideroad 12 west of Arthur at approximately 8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.
In two videos posted to the OPP West Region Twitter account, Const. Joshua Cunningham stated a tractor trailer and work van collided and two people were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two others were rushed to local hospital with life threatening injuries and one of these people later succumbed to their injuries.
Cunningham asked anyone who was in the area and knows something about this incident to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
