Stone Road Mall closed early Friday night after a jewelry store was robbed.
Police say the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. and resulted in a large police presence at the mall.
Police sent out a press release shortly before 10 p.m. confirming an incident, although not naming the exact location, Numerous posts on social media said that the Charm Diamond Centre jewelry store at the mall was robbed.
Numerous suspects attended a store inside Stone Road Mall. They smashed display cases and stole merchandise before fleeing the area in a vehicle, police explain.
