Free buffet meals are coming to Mandarin restaurants on Canada Day, including the Guelph location, in celebration of its 45th anniversary.
“As a proud Canadian company, we would like to celebrate Canada Day by inviting Mandarin fans to enjoy a free buffet meal,” states a post on the chain’s website.
The buffet will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with the first seating at noon and the last of the day at 8 p.m. on July 1. No reservations will be taken.
When the Mandarin did something similar for Canada Day in 2019, a spokesperson for the Guelph location said it provided about 1,300 buffet meals for Canadian citizens. Proof of citizenship was required that time around, but not this time.
