Often a search for one thing leads to the discovery of another.
A morning expedition to find the scene of a sawmill fire took me straight into the path of oncoming dense fog — the kind of fog that drifts heavily and quickly over the land, obscuring everything in its path.
Fog can be a danger to drive through, but it is a rare pleasure to photograph the effects it has on everything it touches.
The images in this gallery were taken over a 45-minute period, mostly due north of Guelph, and down 6th Line east of Ennotville.
A sawmill was found, but not the burned one.
