ELORA – Centre Wellington’s state-of-the-art washroom is officially open.
The township announced on Twitter late last week the new self-cleaning, accessible, and gender-neutral washroom is open at Hoffer Park behind the township office in Elora.
The washroom has an automated cleaning cycle that cleans, dries and sanitizes the whole unit. It will be open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The previous term of council approved this washroom at a cost of $385,000, more than half of which was covered by a government grant but was $100,000 more than originally anticipated.
