Crane Park trails will be closed off to the public on Thursday Jan. 12 as the city installs a 25-foot bridge over a storm water outlet.
The Cane Park Bridge is in support of the Guelph Hiking Trail Club’s 50th anniversary project, and will provide safe year-round access to both sides of the storm water channel.
Construction for the first phase – bridge installation – is expected to last the whole day, weather permitting. Phase two involves installing a ramp for safe access to the bridge.
There will be no access to Crane Park until the first phase is finished.
Updates on construction will be posted here.
