Busy section of York Road set to close for three months

Underground sewer and water upgrades set to resume

A busy section of York Road just outside Downtown Guelph will be closed to through traffic again starting April 3.

It will be closed for at least three months, says the city.

Following a winter weather break, work on underground sewer and water upgrades, along with surface upgrades, will take place on York Road from Hersey Street to Ontario Street.

The Ontario Street intersection will also be closed.

Local access to residences and businesses will be maintained. Buses will be detoured.
