GuelphToday received the following letter to the editor from reader Sheila McClelland regarding the safety of area streets
Hello
I agree, street people do not want to be left out of society. Many have been beaten down and their self worth has been devalued because of many events in their life. Could be lack of family, residential schools, reform schools, or just plain labeled bad. Mental health issues stop some from asking for help. It is not the street people who scare me, it is those who prey on the street people that I fear the most.
Thank you for caring
Sincerely,
Sheila McClelland
