GuelphToday sat down with Rotary Club of Guelph president Carolyn Weatherson to discuss it's charitable foundation's latest effort: RotaryResponds.
It will match every dollar up to $10,000 and donate it to the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital COVID-19 Critical Response Fund to purchase supplies and equipment as part of their RotaryResponds campaign.
The red-ribbon part of their campaign is designed to show support for essential and frontline workers. Community members are encouraged to tie red ribbons on a tree, post, or balcony at their home and then share via social media with the hashtag #RotaryResponds.
Donations can be made on the Rotary Club of Guelph Charitable Foundation’s website at www.RotaryGuelph.ca.
