A Guelph woman was arrested after an employee of a downtown establishment was slapped and bitten early Sunday.
Just after 1 a.m. police were called to a business on Macdonell Street. An employee was checking on a customer after another patron expressed concern for her wellbeing, but when he approached she slapped him and knocked his glasses off.
While trying to remove the woman from the business she bit the same employee on the upper arm leaving a noticeable mark.
A 46-year-old Guelph woman is charged with assault.
