A laundry room threat on Saturday evening has resulted in charges for a Guelph man, including for the alleged robbery of a south end business on Friday.

At about 7 p.m. on Saturday, a north end apartment tenant was doing laundry in the building when he reportedly noticed another tenant watching him and became upset, threatening to harm the other tenant.

Police were called and made an arrest. Further investigation revealed the accused is the same man wanted for assaulting an employee and fleeing a south end business with more than $300 in merchandise on Friday.

A Guelph man, 56, is charged with robbery and uttering threats.
