TOWNSHIP OF MAPLETON – Apparently not everyone is getting the message about physical isolation to help flatten the COVID-19 curve.
Wellington County OPP said they received several calls Saturday night regarding a large outdoor party in the Township of Mapleton.
Police attended at around 11:30 p.m. and broke up the party.
One person was charged under the Emergency Management and Civil Protections Act which prevents public gatherings of more than five people. That charge carries a fine of between $750 and $100,000.
