Officer charged following collision

The officer was uninjured and damage to the cruiser was moderate

Members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision on the 6^th Line of Nichol Township on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 at 8:05 p.m. involving an OPP cruiser and parked vehicle.

Investigation revealed that Sergeant Mike Dolderman was operating a police cruiser when his vehicle struck a parked vehicle on the roadway. As a result of the investigation, the member was issued a provincial offence notice for fail to turn out to the left to avoid a collision.

The officer, a 22-year member of the Wellington County OPP was uninjured and damage to the cruiser, moderate.
