Guelph police are investigating after an Oakville couple had a knife pulled on them during a disturbance Tuesday evening in the Stone Road Mall parking lot.
Just after 7 p.m. police were called for a report of several people fighting outside Stone Road Mall. Investigation revealed a couple had come to Guelph to visit their son and first stopped at the mall. When they came outside they observed their vehicle window smashed and someone inside.
They confronted the woman, who denied she had taken anything and ran away. The couple gave chase but then were confronted by a male, who punched the husband in the face and brandished a large knife.
The first suspect was described as a black female, 5’2” with an athletic build, short hair and a nose piercing. The second was a black male, 5’9” with a thin build, very long braided hair and wearing a black sweater and jeans. They fled in a black Ford Fusion with Quebec licence plates.
