On New Year's Eve Guelph police were called to a jewelry store on Stone Road, where there was a report of a male wearing a disguise, taking pictures of the store.
Police arrived shortly after and located the male. Police interacted with the male and as a result of the interaction, the male is alleged to be concealing a weapon, namely a machete.
The 18-year-old Guelph man was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
