On Nov. 24 Guelph police initiated an investigation into a person-to-person robbery that occurred in the west end of Guelph. The victim in the incident received an injury to his head and was robbed of money.
The suspect was identified and a warrant for his arrest was issued.
On New Year's Eve police located the suspect on Greengate Drive and arrested him.
A 42-year-old Guelph man was arrested and charged with robbery, break and enter, failing to comply with a release order and failing to comply with an undertaking. He was held for a bail hearing.
