On April 9, 2020 at 1:45 p.m., two adult females were walking near the intersection of Wellington Street West and Dublin Street South in the City of Guelph, when an adult male walked up behind them, coughed on them, laughed and said, “Now you have coronavirus.”
At 2:20 p.m., police located the male and he was subsequently arrested.
A 24-year-old Guelph male has been charged with:
• Common nuisance
• Breach of probation
He will appear in court on July 14.
