A warning from Guelph police to be cautious after a pair of deaths Friday in Downtown Guelph.
Police say the two deaths are "possibly related to illicit drug use." It comes after municipalities nearby have issued warnings about contaminated drugs.
In nearby Waterloo region, a community drug alert was issued after 35 reported cases of drug poisonings between Oct. 31 and Nov. 5.
Guelph police say if you see anyone overdosing, you're asked to call 911 and administer naloxone if opioid use is suspected.
