Guelph police report they are dealing with an "ongoing investigation" near downtown.
They tweeted Thursday morning around 10:45 a.m. regarding an investigation in the area of Dufferin Street and London Road East, with is about a kilometre north of downtown.
Police released few details, but did say there is no threat to public safety.
A police command vehicle is on location and the area is being cordoned off as the investigation continues.
