Guelph police arrested two individuals for impaired driving Wednesday.
At 1:50 p.m., police received a report of an intoxicated adult male driving a motor vehicle away from a licensed establishment located near the intersection of Victoria Road South and York Road.
Police then began searching for the male.
At 2:35 p.m., police received a report that the male had just crashed his vehicle into a snowbank at the back of a commercial parking lot located near the intersection of Woodlawn Road West and Royal Road.
Police located the male at 2:40pm and he was subsequently arrested.
A 41-year-old Puslinch man has been charged with impaired, dangerous operation of a vehicle, breach of recognizance and failure to comply with undertaking.
At 9:50 p.m., a woman was involved in a minor motor vehicle collision near the intersection of Willow Road and Applewood Crescent.
Police attended on scene and subsequently arrested the 48-year-old driver for impaired driving.
