Police are looking for a woman they say used a skirt made just for stealing products.

Guelph police say a woman used a skirt made just for helping her steal items from stores.

On Aug. 12, a loss prevention officer working at a store inside Stone Road Mall discovered large empty spaces which a day earlier had been filled with product. A review of security video showed a female entering the store the previous day and stealing a significant number of cosmetics and fragrances valued at more than $2,200.

The suspect was described as a white female in her late 20s with brown hair. She was wearing a large grey skirt with straps over the shoulders, black t-shirt, beige sun hat, black purse and carrying a striped bag. The complainant believed the female may have been wearing a fake pregnant belly into which the stolen products were placed.
