Arrest made after cash, family photos stolen

A Guelph man has been arrested after a break-in at a downtown business.

Approximately 9:25 p.m. November 11, a male was caught on surveillance video entering an unlocked rear door of a business on Macdonell Street after pulling a mask over his face. A backpack containing cash, business records and family photos was stolen. Officers recognized the male from the video.

On Friday afternoon a 39-year-old Guelph man was located downtown and arrested for break and enter, disguise with intent and two counts of breaching a probation order. He was held for a bail hearing Monday.
