Dino Roumel will be back managing the Guelph Royals this summer.

The club announced Tuesday the 2024 IBL Manager of the Year will return as the team's field manager for the 2025 season.

Roumel, 58, will enter his fourth season of his second stint as the Royals manager.

"I'm so excited to be back with the Royals for the 2025 season. Unfinished business is such an overused motto and while it is not something I want to use as motivation to come back, the drive and desire to bring home a championship for our fans, players, and my hometown is all the motivation I need," Roumel said in a social media post by the team.

Royals owner Shawn Fuller said re-signing Roumel was his top priority this offseason.

"Dino's return is pivotal to our goals of fostering a winning environment and providing a player-first experience. His leadership and deep understanding of the game will help ensure that our team is prepared to compete at the highest level. With Dino at the helm, we are not only focused on achieving success on the field but also creating a supportive and dynamic atmosphere that helps each player thrive."

The regular season starts May 16.
