The Guelph Nighthawks won their third straight game Tuesday night at the Sleeman Centre, an 89-82 victory over the expansion Newfoundland Growlers.
Guelph improved to 4-3 on the season with the Growlers 0-6. The Nighthawks are tied for third place in the 10-team league.
Guelph, who led 57-42 at the half, were led by 30 points from Cat Barber. AJ Lawson added 14 and TJ Lall chipped in with 12.
Brandon Sampson led Newfoundland with 20 points.
The Nighthawks travel to Ottawa Thursday to take on the Blackjacks then host the Hamilton Honey Badgers on Sunday in a 2 p.m. start.
