Guelph Storm steamrolled by Knights

LONDON – The nation's top-ranked team sure looked like it Friday night, as the London Knights beat the Guelph Storm 6-0.

London scored four goals in the second period to blow open what had been a tight contest in the first.

Guelph actually outshot the Knights 32-31, with London's Alexei Medvedev earning the shutout and Colin Ellsworth going all the way in net for Guelph.

Landon Sim led London with two goals.

Guelph plays in Saginaw Saturday in a 4 p.m. start.

Next home game is Friday when Brantford visits.
