Former Guelph Storm captain Braeden Bowman has signed a professional contract.

After attending the Las Vegas Knights development camp in July, Bowman has been signed to a one-year contract by the Henderson Silver Knights, the American Hockey League affiliate of Las Vegas.

Bowman, 21, played three seasons with the Storm after being a fifth round draft pick in 2019. He went on to score 97 goals in 184 regular season games, twice hitting the 30-goal mark, including 37 in his overage year.

The six-foot-two, 195-pound Kitchener native was a free agent.
