Saturday

Guelph Farmers' Market

2 Gordon St.; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Come down to the market for produce, baked goods, beverages and more.

Eramosa River Trail parkrun and parkwalk

Eramosa River Trail, 85 York Rd.; 9 a.m. - noon

The free weekly timed 5K run, jog or walk kicks off just east of the covered wooden bridge near The Boathouse. Newcomers are encouraged to join at 8:45 a.m. 

Remembrance Day service

Colonel John McCrae Birthplace & Memorial Gardens (108 Water St.); 9 a.m.

Remembrance Day parade and service

The annual parade leaves Farquhar Street, beside the Guelph Armoury, at 10 a.m. and marches to the Sleeman Centre on Woolwich Street, where a ceremony is set to begin at 10:40 a.m. After the ceremony, the parade picks back up on Courthouse Lane and heads north on Woolwich Street to the cenotaph, where it turns left onto Wyndham Street and finishes back at Farquhar Street.

Remembrance Day service

Woodlawn Memorial Park (762 Woolwich St.); 10:45 a.m.

An opportunity to honour those who gave their lives in services of our country.

Bare Bear Bones

Guelph Little Theatre (176 Morris St.); 8 p.m.

The first play of the 2023/2024 season is comedy Bare Bear Bones by Michael Grant and directed by Gina VanRaalte. A couple try to bring back the romantic feelings they felt for each other when they first fell in love at the Bare Bears Family Campground, only to find it is now a nudist camp. Sunday

Christmas Bazaar

Holy Rosary Hall (165 Emma St.); 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This market includes baked items, books, jewelry, outdoor arrangements, children’s items and more. Proceeds used to support local charities.

The Merry & Bright Market

69 Huron St.; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Numerous vendors will be on hand to sell their wares, held in collaboration with Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington.

Elvis impersonator in concert

Trinity United Church (400 Stevenson St. N.); 1 p.m.

Listen to Garry Wesley perform Elvis Presley’s greatest hits, as well as gospel songs.

Palestinian vigil 

Market Square, 1:30 p.m.

It's a call for peace and a ceasefire in Palestine organized by a number of Arabic organizations.

Harcourt Memorial United Church (87 Dean Ave.); 2:30 p.m.

Performances in support of Chalmers Community Services Centre, which supports people experiencing food insecurity in the community. Visit here for more information.
