Erin Fall Fair

Saturday

Guelph Farmers’ Market

2 Gordon St.; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Check out an abundance of fresh produce, baked goods, beverages, and products from local meat producers

Eramosa River Trail parkrun and parkwalk

Eramosa River Trail at 85 York Rd.; 9 a.m. to noon

A free weekly timed 5k run, jog, and walk kicks off just east of the covered bridge near The Boathouse. Newcomers are encouraged to join at 8:45 a.m.

Fire Prevention Day activities

West End Community Centre (21 Imperial Rd. S.); 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Put on by the Guelph Fire Department for Fire Prevention Day, in partnership with Guelph-Eramosa Fire Rescue, the event will provide safety lessons and live demonstrations, along with the inflatable fire safety house and mascot Sparky the fire safety dog.

Sensational Elora Pumpkin Day

Wellington County Museum and Archives (0536 Wellington Rd. 18, Aboyne); 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Free family-friendly event packed with activities including a professional pumpkin carver, pumpkin carving contest, African drumming circle, Indigenous storytelling and more. Attendees are asked to bring a food bank donation.

Sunday

Aberfoyle Antique Market

57 Brock Rd. S., Aberfoyle; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Canada’s largest outdoor antique market.

Monday

Thanksgiving Day Road Races

Exhibition Park; registration begins at 9 a.m., races start at 11 a.m.

Held in support of Guelph General Hospital, this event features various distances around the park, including a 100-metre dash for children. The cost of registration varies depending on the distance, ranging between free and $25 per person for individual races. Find more information here.

Sensational Soup Off

Wellington County Museum and Archives (0536 Wellington Rd. 18, Aboyne); 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The museum is hosting three categories of soup makers competing to see who comes out on top. Attendees can vote for their favourite soup, listen to music and help Sensational Elora’s effort to tackle hunger in the community.
