FERGUS - Downtown Fergus is going medieval this weekend.
The Fergus Medieval Faire invades the downtown core on Saturday, July 28, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in a free event open to all ages.
Activities include archery, a falconry demonstration, medieval reenactments, swordsmanship, armour displays, a Viking encampment, knight fighting, traditional artisan and textile exhibit, medieval horse rides, puppet shows, crafts and story telling.
A town crier will be on hand to announce events taking place and downtown stores will be participating.
