QUEEN OF CRAFT

Every year, a group of Queen of Craft Beer Education Series participants are randomly chosen to form a brew team. The crew works with Wellington's brewers to develop a recipe, brew the beer, and create a label design with proceeds to support Guelph Wellington Women In Crisis. This year, the team brewed a Golden Ale with Sumac. To date, Queen of Craft has raised over $60,000 for the organization.
The release party will be hosted at Wellington Brewery on Friday, Dec. 2, from 7 to 11 p.m. and will include:
- Sumac presentation by Ali Engering, MSc (environmental), outdoor educator
- Beer Jeopardy
- DJ Chillhaze
- Silent Auction of local goods and services
- New Queen of Craft merchandise
- Beer, snacks and non-alcoholic cocktails
One hundred per cent of proceeds from Queen of Craft events go to support Guelph Wellington Women In Crisis, so bring friends and family to support a great cause, taste some delicious beer, and build community.
