PUSLINCH – Police are on the scene of a serious two-vehicle collision south of Guelph where one of the drivers was pronounced dead.
The other was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
The collision happened late Wednesday morning on Wellington Road 32, just south of Concession Road 4 about two kilometres south of Wellington County Road 124, between Guelph and Hespeler.
OPP said one of the cars was northbound and the other southbound.
Wellington Road 32 remains closed between Concession 4 and Wellington Road 34.
Two vehicles were involved, including one SUV, with the collision happening immediately adjacent to a residential driveway.
The two-lane road is paved but there was some fog in the area.
OPP tweeted shortly before noon that Wellington Road 32 between Wellington Road 124 and Wellington Road 34 would be closed "for several hours" and urged drivers to avoid the area.
