The city has pulled the plug on showing Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Carden Street Monday night.
While the rain subsided, it was the wind that would have created issues with the inflatable screen that the game is shown on, the city said in a tweet around 8:15 p.m.
"Sorry everyone. It's too windy to invfate the outdoor screen so tonight's event is cancelled. Please find a cozy indoor place to cheer on the Raptors," the tweet said.
Last Friday's showing of Game 4 drew about 2,000 people on a beautiful summer night.
The Toronto Raptors can win their first ever NBA title with a win over the Golden State Warriors.
