Guelph and Wellington County residents ages 70 and older can now pre-register to receive a COVID-19 vaccination, with needles in arms anticipated to start in two or three weeks.

Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health began accepting pre-registrations for the age group on Tuesday. Anyone who pre-registers will be contacted in order to book an appointment when they’re eligible to be vaccinated, explains a social media post from the agency.

To pre-register, visit wdgpublichealth.ca/register or call 1-844-780-0202.

For anyone who needs assistance with the pre-registration process, help is available at local libraries.
