New brew pub part of The Platform shared work space at The Junction

The Platform officially opened its coworking space this week on Edinburgh Road

Guelph's newest shared work space is also going to be home to Guelph's newest brew pub.

Platform shared work space officially opened on Thursday and announced that Abe Erb Brewing Co. will be moving in soon at the location on Edinburgh Road, just south of Paisley.

Abe Erb currently has two locations, in Waterloo and Kitchener.

“We are extremely proud of our partnership with Granite Homes and the entrance into the dynamic Guelph beer community and culture,” says Rob Theodosiou, President/CEO of Abe Erb in a news release.

“We are looking forward to creating a venue for neighbours, friends, and family to reconnect while enjoying local food, local beer and local entertainment.”

Platform is a newly constructed building and a vibrant part of The Junction, a 45,000 sq.ft. mixed-use development by Granite Homes.

“Platform is a stylish office space that offers a collaborative hub for local business owners who are seeking an office, or offices, outside of their home,” said Mike Taylor, vice-president of business development for Granite Homes in a news release.

“Coworking spaces help to cultivate a communal business environment where entrepreneurs and professionals can thrive independently or feed off like-minded individuals.”

Platform is a 24/7 secure access building with 6 month lease agreements, offers space to conduct client meetings in a professional setting and is completely furnished building, including two kitchens and a trendy lounge and a state-of-the-art boardroom.
