The Guelph Symphony Orchestra will present its season finale concert, Symphonic Playlist, at River Run Centre on Saturday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. You will be treated to a delightful array of instantly recognizable symphonic melodies. This beautiful programme features works by Debussy, Coleman, Bizet, and John Williams. Also on the playlist is Tchaikovsky’s breathtaking Romeo and Juliet and Bernstein’s vibrant West Side Story. A true celebration to conclude our Season of Joy.

We are thrilled to welcome conductor Michael Hall, the sixth and final candidate in the search for our next artistic director, to lead the orchestra!” said Catherine Molina, the orchestra’s general manager.

Maestro Hall is the music director of the both the Kennett and the Prince George Symphony Orchestras. Hall has appeared with many of today’s leading ensembles, including the Toronto Symphony, the Vancouver Symphony, the Louisiana Philharmonic, and the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra.

This concert will be one hour long, without intermission.
