To celebrate Dublin Street United Church’s 150th anniversary it is running a logo design contest.
There are two categories people can enter in, adults and children under 12. Logo design submissions are due by Feb. 2.
Winners will be announced mid-February and will get mystery swag as the prize. There will be a winner for each category.
There will be an overall winner and the logo will be featured for the 150th anniversary events and celebrations for the rest of the year,
The winner in the under 12 category will have their logo featured for child and youth events for the anniversary celebrations.
The logo is specific to the 150th celebration and will not be replacing the church’s current logo.
“We wanted to find a way to engage our internal and external community in celebrating this milestone by having them create their own vision of a logo for Dublin's 150th anniversary year. A chance for us all to celebrate and represent this milestone visually,” said Dave Durbin, chair of Dublin Street United Church marketing and communications committee, in an email.
